More Information VEGAS Pro (formerly Sony Vegas) features various tools for manipulating video and audio in Windows. To save a window layout as a VEGASWINDOWLAYOUT file, select View → Window Layouts → Save Layout As . VEGAS Pro saves the file in the following directory by default: C:\​Users\​[user]\​AppData\​Roaming\​VEGAS Pro\​[version]\​ NOTE: VEGASWINDOWLAYOUT files are not backward compatible with previous software versions. Therefore, you cannot use a layout file created with version 12 of the software in version 11.
