How to open an LS file
You can open LS files with LightWave in Windows and macOS. For example, to open an LS file in the Layout or Modeler programs included with LightWave 3D, select the Utilities tab, then choose LScript in the "LScript" section in the left pane.
Since LS files store LScript language in plain text, you can also open them with a text editor, such as Microsoft Notepad (Windows) or Apple TextEdit (macOS). You may need to rename the file extension to .txt for the text editor to recognize it.
