What is an NPL file? Playlist of media files created with Nokia Multimedia Player, a media playback program included in the Nokia PC Suite; may include references to audio and video files, as well as multimedia message files, but does not contain the actual referenced files themselves.

NOTE: The NPL format is an older project format. Versions 7-10 of ISE software use the .ISE extension, and the .XISE format was introduced with ISE version 11. You can convert NPL files into XISE files in recent versions of the software. Select File → Open Project and choose your NPL file.
