An RSS file may also be a model file used by RAM Structural System, a building suite used to design, analyze, and draft steel and concrete structures. It contains various component files of a building model, which include B3D, UID, and RAM files. RSS files are compressed with Zip compression.

More Information

The RSS file is one of the primary file types associated with RAM Structural System. The component files included in the RSS file make up the building model. If any of the files are missing, the RSS model will not open correctly. You can rename the RSS extension to .ZIP and extract the contents with a Zip utility. Each of the component files bears the same name as the RSS file.

NOTE: RAM Structural System consists of four design modules, which include RAM Steel, RAM Frame, RAM Foundation, and RAM Concrete.
