An SBD file may also be a data definition file used by Superbase, a database management application. It contains definitions for the data stored in an accompanying .SBF file. SBD files are plain text files.

Programmers use Superbase to create and manage databases. For example, a programmer might use Superbase to create a database and application used to track their company's inventory. Databases created in Superbase are saved as SBF files.
Each SBF file is linked to an accompanying SBD file. The SBD file defines the data the SBF file contains.
How to open an SBD file
SBD files are meant to be used with Superbase (Windows). Specifically SBD files are meant to be loaded along with an accompanying SBF file.
However, because SBD files are plain text files, you can also open them and view the data they contain with Microsoft Notepad (Windows), Apple TextEdit (Mac), or any other text editor.
